Why does Chronicles need a ~600MB download?

Chronicles runs its speech-recognition AI entirely on your iPhone. The one-time model download is the price of nothing ever leaving your device.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone 15 Pro or newer. The on-device AI requires the Neural Engine in these devices.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are also handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I get my data out?

Settings → Export. All entries export as Markdown in a .zip, yours to keep, no lock-in.

I lost my phone. Can you restore my journal?

No. That's by design. Your journal only exists on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud backup. I have no copy and no access. Restoring from iCloud brings your entries back on a new device.
